The Resurfacing Process

Surface Preparation:
Loose dirt, mold, grass/weeds, and any other foreign material is scraped/blown away. Pressure washing of the court is also performed on an as needed basis (ex: surface bubbling / peeling & extensive dirt).

Patching (Bird Baths):
Areas that are found to hold 1/8 inch of water 1 hour after rain/flooding of court shall be leveled off using an acrylic patch binder.

Crack Repair:
Cracks wider than 1/16 inch will be patched with acrylic crack filler. Due to environmental factors, cracks may return over time and should be expected.

Resurfacing / Color Coating:
Two to three coats of acrylic resurfacer will be applied over the entire court surface followed by the application of two coats of acrylic color coating mixed with a portion of silica sand (providing a superior and durable textured playing surface). *Multiple / exotic color choice(s) may incur a small surcharge.

Line Striping:
White acrylic line paint is rolled over the dried color coating to finish off the playing surface to regulation specifications.
